-swingweights - typical swingweight range for a set of irons is from D1 in the longest iron to D6 in the wedges, progressing in 1/2 point increments per clubs.
Again, this results in a more consistent feel from club to club.

This includes lengths, swingweights, shaft flex (actual, not what the shaft is labeled) as well as suggestions as to how to make relatively inexpensive fixes. ADVICE FOR SERIOUS GOLFERS:
I always tell my customers that you don't have to buy all of your clubs at once, but make sure that whatever you do buy meets your goals for your set. Don't buy clubs that don't match the blueprint for lengths, swingweights, actual flex values, distance coverage, etc.
